    Plateau Floral Beaded Bag
  • I am attributing this beaded bag to the Nez Pearce tribe in Oregon.
  • I believe it dates Ca: 1920-40
  • Has a tag on it with the name Edith Heck, who was probably the maker.
  • The beading on this bag could have taken up to six months to make.
  • Deep purple velvet backing and a light pink cotton interior. Bags of this quality are becoming very difficult to find.
  • Dimensions: 13" W x 131/2" H, not including 41/2" of fringe at the bottom.
  • Price: $995.

    Nez Pearce Beaded Bag
  • This bag comes from the plateau region of the Northwest coast, probably Oregon.
  • Traditionally beaded bag in a geometric pattern. Geometric patterns predate floral patterns or bags with figures.
